Do I need to log into the app every time I use it?


No. You will remain logged into the app unless you choose to log out via the Settings page or if you have not used it for 30 consecutive days.

How do I report incorrect information?


In the More Info section of each location, at the bottom of the listing there is a Send Feedback button which opens up an email where you can feedback on the listing.

We welcome your input on our listings and may contact you to confirm any suggested changes in your feedback.




I have noticed one of your fuel locations has data that is several days old, why would that be?


Our fuel prices are updated daily in most cases. However, our data provider may not obtain this information every day for a small number of rural locations.




Do you supply information for locations outside the UK?


At the moment our service covers England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We do not supply location and price information for the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.




I have noticed you don't have a fuel location listed, can I add it?


Of course. If you've noticed we're missing a location from our map you can let us know the missing details here. We will follow our own internal processes before adding the location to our app.

myDriveway

Why do I have to register my vehicle?


The myAutomate app tailors the information it displays based on your fuel type.

We have also developed the handy myDriveway section of the app to enable you to manage your household’s vehicles more easily.




How many vehicles can I register on myDriveway?


The limit for the number of vehicles you can register is five.




What is my Primary Vehicle?


The primary vehicle should be the most used vehicle in your household. Your primary vehicle will decide the default fuel location information on your dashboard and the default fuel prices you will see, if you drive a petrol or diesel vehicle.




Where do you get the data for the MOT and Tax expiry dates?


We get the data for your vehicle’s MOT and tax expiry dates from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).




How do I set a reminder for my MOT?


If an MOT expiry date is displayed, simply tap the bell icon to the right of the MOT expiry date field. You can then set a reminder up to 30 days before the expiry date.

On the day of the reminder, a notification will appear on your phone to remind you to arrange for an MOT test. You can update and edit the date and reminders whenever you need to.

If your vehicle is less than three years old, there will be no date in your MOT expiry field, you are welcome to fill one out if you know it.




How do I set a reminder for my vehicle tax?


Simply tap the bell icon on the right of the tax expiry date field. You can set a reminder up to 30 days before the expiry date.

On the day of the reminder, a notification will appear on your phone to remind you to arrange to pay your car tax.

You can update and edit the date and reminders whenever you need to.




How do I set a reminder for my service?


Enter the service date for your vehicle in the service date field

Simply tap the bell icon on the right of the service expiry date field. You can then set a reminder up to 30 days before your service expires. On the day of the reminder, a notification will appear on your phone reminding you to arrange your service.

You can update and edit the date and reminders whenever you need to.




How do I set a reminder for my vehicle insurance?


Enter the name of your insurance vendor into the field in myDriveway and then add the expiry date in the field below.

Tap the bell icon on the right of the insurance expiry date field. You can then set a reminder up to 30 days before your insurance expires. On the day of the reminder, a notification will appear on your phone reminding you to arrange your insurance renewal.

If you have changed your insurer at the time of renewal, you can select the new vendor from the list.

If your insurance provider isn't listed you can select Other




How do I add another vehicle to myDriveway?


In myDriveway simply tap on the plus sign in the top right of the screen. Enter in your registration number then details of the make and fuel type will be returned.

If these are correct, you can then add the vehicle to myDriveway.

You can then view details of the newly added vehicle and add in any reminder dates or insurance details you need.





Settings

How do I change my password?


Tap on the Change Password field in Settings. Enter in your existing password and type in and then confirm your new password. Passwords should be 8 to 12 characters long with a mix of numbers, uppercase and lower case.




Can I filter which electric vehicle connector types I see?


In settings select EV Connect Types.

You will then be provided with a list of connector types. By default, these are all toggled on, but you can switch off those connector types that don’t apply to your electric vehicle and confirm the changes.

The EV charge points presented to you on the map will reflect your selections.
